What to Expect from a Mobile Mechanic in Houston

No tow truck, no waiting room. Here's how a mobile mechanic visit works, what we can fix at your location, and how to prepare.

We bring the tools and common parts

A mobile mechanic isn't just a guy with a wrench. We carry diagnostic scanners, specialty tools, fluids, and a curated stock of common wear items like belts, hoses, batteries and starting components, and brake pads.

You pick the location

Driveway, office parking lot, or job site — if it's safe and legal to work there, we'll meet you there. Just make sure there's enough room to open doors and hood, and access to power if needed. Check our service areas to confirm we cover your address, or call for emergency roadside help.

Diagnostics come first

We don't guess. We test, scan, and inspect before quoting. That saves you from paying for parts you don't need. Start with a computer diagnostic, or book a pre-purchase inspection before you buy a used vehicle.

Warrantied work, clear invoices

Every job gets a written invoice with parts, labor, and warranty terms. Our standard craftsmanship warranty is 12 months / 12,000 miles, and parts carry the manufacturer's warranty — the details are on our warranty page, and you can read more about the shop.

Mad Mike's Mobile Mechanic serves Friendswood, Webster, League City, Pearland, Manvel, and Clear Lake. Call or text for an up-front quote.
